Leticia Gasca “Don't fail fast fail mindfully” reading response

I had to do a reading response on one of my project three sources. I picked Leticia Gasca's ted talk because that's what got my attention the most. I was able to relate a lot to the things she was saying.

Leticia Gasca's speech on “Don't fail fast fail mindfully” Starts off by talking about how they would publicly humiliate people back in the day. After that, she goes on to tell us about how she started her own business but struggled to make sales and eventually had to close it down. Then she talks about how it took her 7 years to talk to her friends about her failed business. After that talk her friends also opened to her about their failure. is about how failing mindfully is about learning from the mistakes you make and sharing your learning experience with the world. Leticia started a group with her friends to tell their stories and learn from each other.

After watching/hearing Leticia Gasca's speech, I think I could start doing what she is advising on doing. She explains how to fail mindfully which means being aware of the impact, of the consequences of the failure of that business, and being aware of the lessons learned. I'm now starting to think about how if I tell my story's about stuff I failed in, then that can help someone else who has the same problem I have. For example, in a video game, If I could never defeat the boss level and I see my cousin or someone else struggling I can tell them how I failed and that will help him succeed by allowing him to avoid the mistakes I did.
